Prayer Stations

Below is a list of the prayer station we will have for the week. Each prayer station has ben designed to help you approach God in prayer with very specific themes. Join us at 6pm, January 11-15!

blessing

Blessing

1 Peter 3:9 NIV

This prayer station is designed to give you the opportunity to pray a prayer of blessings over your enemies and/or those that have done wrong to you. Scripture clearly tells us that we should bless those who curse us. Take a moment and pray a heartfelt prayer for those individuals in your life.

communoin

Communion

1 Corinthians 11:23-28 NIV

This station is designed for you to take a moment and reflect upon the sacrifice Christ made for our lives. It is through his death and the shedding of his blood that we have been offered the forgiveness of our sin. Scripture tells us that we should take a time to remember what the Lord has done for us through communion. The scriptures tell us that each person must reflect upon their own life and examine if they are worthy to receive communion. Search your heart and make things right with God. Rip the bread from the cross as the symbol of his body being broken for you and eat it. Through his body we have been provided the power for healing. Thank Him for that. Drink the juice from the cup as the symbol of Christ’s blood that was shed for you. Through his blood the bible says a multitude of sins have been forgiven, thank him for the forgiveness of your sin.

family-tree

Family Tree

Joshua 24:15b NIV

This prayer station was designed with your family in mind! We all have somebody in our family that we’ve been praying for. During this week of prayer we want to stand with you in believing for your family members to come to know Jesus! Please write the name of your family member on a leaf and stick it to the tree, in doing so you’re entrusting them to the Lord. Take the “Family Tree” card with you and continue to pray for God to move in the hearts of your family members!

government

Government/Elections

1 Timothy 2:2 ESV

This prayer station is designed to give you the opportunity to pray for the government of the United States of America. We suggest that you pray for the military, local, state and national government, as well as the congress, senate, judicial and executive branches of the government. With this year being an election year, we also suggest that you pray for the upcoming elections.

kingdom-come

Kingdom Come

Matthew 6:10 NIV

This prayer station was designed to cause you to look beyond your own home and life and call upon the kingdom of God to come forth in your city and the world! It is our hope that you allow the Kingdom of God to invade your heart and change your life! To use this station please use all 3 maps that are posted. On the local map, pray for your neighborhood and all of our campuses and the cities they’re reaching! On the national map pick a state to pray for. During this time pray for our government and leaders. On the global map pick a country to pray for and remember our Assembly of God missionaries as well.

thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

2 Corinthians 9:11-12 NIV

This prayer station is designed to give you a place to physically write out something you are thankful to God for. Use the chalk to write, or draw what you praise God for, and what you are thankful to Him for.

wailing-wall

Wailing Wall

Philippians 4:6 NIV

This prayer station was designed for you to be able to make your requests known to God. To make your request known to the Lord just take a piece of paper, write your request, and stick into the wall. By placing your request in the wall you are taking God at His word that he will hear you when you pray! He knows your request before you even bring it and He cares very deeply about you and all you’re dealing with! Take the “Wailing Wall” card with you

wiped-away

Wiped Away

Acts 3:19 NIV

This prayer station was designed to give you the opportunity to write down the thing(s) that have been holding you back. Scripture shows us that our sins can be wiped out. Take a moment to write that thing on the white board, pray to God to wipe it away. Once you are done praying, wipe it off the board.

Prayer Room

This room will be open from 9am – 6pm Monday – Friday, for those that are not able to make the daily 6-7pm prayer time and/or would like to pray more.

o   There will be light worship music playing in the room.

o   There will be cards from the prayer stations for them to take home.
