Pastor Nahum Munoz was born in Corona Ca. and lived the first five years of his life in Lake Elsinore Ca. At the age of five, God called his parents (Blas & Sofia Munoz) to pastor the first hispanic Assembly of God Church in Sun City Ca. On March 18, 2006 his father Blas passed away in a tragic mechanical failure as he worked on the hydraulics of his dump truck. In the midst of this tragedy, God used this moment to confirm His Calling over Pastor Nahum’s life. After graduating from Paloma Valley High School he earned a full ride scholarship to Vanguard University where he received a BA in Pastoral Leadership. During his time at Vanguard he got much more than he bargained for. On the first day of Music Camp he met his Wife Kayla and 2 years later they married, and immediately after their honeymoon began serving in full time ministry as youth and young adult pastors at Evangelistic Center AG in Oxnard Ca. They served in Oxnard for 5 years in which after his first two years of ministry in Oxnard Nahum was licensed with the Assemblies of God. In 2013 they received the call to go to First Assembly of God in Victorville to serve as the student ministries pastor. During this time they were blessed with their first child Judah Josiah Munoz who has been a great joy to them. In May of 2014 Nahum was Ordained with the Assemblies of God. Nahum enjoys reading books on leadership, riding bikes with his wife & son around the neighborhood, exercising at sun ridge park, playing tennis, jamming out on the saxophone or Bass Guitar, and just having fun interesting conversations with friends and family.
